Dr Calvin Chien

With a sub-specialty interest in shoulder, elbow and knee surgery, Dr Calvin Chien is a highly sought-after Orthopaedic Surgeon. Graduating from the University of New South Wales Medical School in 2004, he then completed the orthopaedic surgical training on the NSW Northside Training Program, gaining admission to the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Fellowship of the Australian Orthopaedic Association. Throughout the whole training Dr Chien developed subspecialty skills in shoulder, elbow, hip and knee surgery. Post fellowship, Dr Chien has also gained further experience internationally.
Dr Chien is a SIRA accredited Independent Medical Examiner for WorkCover cases in Upper Limb, Lower Limb and Spine WPI assessments.
Consulting rooms are located in Lidcombe, Hurstville and Bankstown. Dr Chien performs his surgeries at Strathfield Private, North Shore Private, and Hurstville Private Hospitals.
